Jerry Stark of The Stark Companies built this home from the ground up in 2006 after buying a Highland Park Tudor house. The original home, which he intended to remodel, proved to have foundation issues, so he built this modern-living take on Tudor style in its place.
“I have personal affinity for Tudor structures,” Stark said. “I’ve always appreciated that the best. really, of all other architectural styles.”
The five-bedroom, six-bathroom and two half-bathroom home sits on more than half an acre in the Park Cities. Its 8,890 square feet fit in three stories of space with large bedrooms and multiple additional living spaces.
Listing agent Betsy Sorenson said the house provides ample room for entertaining, while maintaining an intimate design.
“The main family room, the kitchen and the breakfast room are all very open and have a really, nice, open flow.”
