DesignBar Home Furnishings showcases inspirational design vignettes from Founder & Principal Designer, Sarah Ray-Fay. Sarah has over 30 years of interior design expertise from working in the Bay Area and in Truckee.
The eclectic collection of items displayed throughout the store are beyond what a typical furniture store in a mountain town would carry. With a focus on redefining mountain living, our goal is to help customers think outside the box and furnish their homes in a creative and beautiful new way.
We are excited to offer our customers access to designer exclusive lines through our library of catalogs. We have the ability to custom order furniture pieces in any style, frame and fabric giving customers one of kind pieces to make their homes works of art. The store also offers a huge selection of upholstery and drapery fabrics, rugs and lighting, plus beautiful gift items such as candles, handmade ornaments, coffee table books, accessories, pillows, picture frames, and throws.
We feel it is important to showcase art and furniture pieces from artists in our community. These one of kind pieces are a big part of our showroom. Custom prints from national art vendors are also on display along with endless possibilities from our art catalogs.
