Harlequin has collaborated with interior designer, broadcaster and House Beautiful columnist, Sophie Robinson, to create an inspired and uplifting new collection. Available from harlequin.com, the range includes 10 wallpapers, eight prints and seven weaves.
Sophie’s signature maximalist style and vivacious colour palette offers the perfect refresh for classic country motifs like florals, stripes and checks.
Some standout pieces from the collection include a fabulous abstract wallpaper inspired by the woodland garden in Sophie’s countryside home, and a sugary candy cane stripe fabric in a rainbow of cheerful colours.
‘It’s no secret that I’m all about colour, so of course, I jumped at the chance to work with Harlequin,’ says Sophie. ‘The collection empowers homeowners to decorate more boldly and personally, creating a unique look with the confidence of knowing that each design mixes and matches beautifully.
‘Many of the designs take their lead from the landscape that surrounds my home, such as our three-meter woodland inspired impressionist panel or Dahlia Bunch’s botanical bouquet. In contrast, Sherbet Stripe is a rainbow of my favourite colours, gathered like a candy cane of pure happiness.’
Claire Greenfield, lead designer at Harlequin, says of the collaboration: ‘Working with Sophie on this launch has been wonderful – her experience and authority of using colour in interior design dovetails so perfectly with our passion for pattern and colour. We’ve filled archive documents and contemporary artworks with bright, bold highlights, and brought Sophie’s ideas to life in a way that empowers homeowners to create colour confident interiors that match their personality.’
